The start of my travel years began in Seattle, visiting my friend Baret. Seattle was absolutely beautiful, and there was so much to explore. I don’t think I have ever drank so much coffee and craft beer in one weekend; it was quiet satisfying. From discovering a new city, to creating new friendships my time in Seattle was wicked! Cheers to the start of the travel years, next destination, San Diego.

This is a story about a father and a son. When your young the world can seem like its working against you. But if you take each day as an experience, just as you go threw a book page by page. At the end you have a beautiful told story, and thats what life is; your unique story. Recently this is something my dad has taught me.
This project was initiated because of a NatGeo competition, but ended with telling a story I will cherish forever. The theme is to tell a story about a person in your hometown who has helped shaped you into the person you are today. I’ll be honest our relationship has been really rocky growing up, and it was anything from perfect. However, he has helped shaped me into the young man I am today.
The title “Just Me & My Dad” was a children’s book my dad would read to me when I was young. It’s a book about a father and a son who went fishing together.

A trip into the forest were a waterfall awaits to be seen. A hike in the rain adds a new perspective on the great outdoors. One may appreciate a hot shower after the completion of the 8 mile loop. But in the end the experience is always worth it.
